Android系统自推出以来，就以明显的优势逐渐扩大市场的份额，尤其在国外，其呼声越来越高，可谓是如日中天，正处于蓬勃发展的开拓阶段。2015年一季度在美国，基于Android系统的智能手机的销售量已占据全美手机销售量的28%份额。据业内人士分析，随着Android系统相应软件的不断开发应用，选择Android系统手机或者无线终端设备的人会越来越多，其市场霸主的地位在更新更好的系统出现之前是不可动摇地。

本课题通过幼儿识字软件需求分析，开发出一个基于Android移动终端的幼儿识字软件，系统的客户端定位于Android手机平台。系统的用户信息和聊天信息在客户端存储在Android平台自身所带的SQLite数据库中，多媒体文件和图片文件存储在Android平台虚拟文件存储设备中。 

本软件开发语言为Java，数据库采用SQLite，在需求分析及设计的基础上，本App实现功能为通过首页的识字和游戏导航，进入识字子页面，每天识字个数为6个并设置语音跟读以满足不同类型幼儿识字，返回主界面再进入游戏子界面，通过小游戏进一步巩固所识别汉字，并对本次学习掌握比较好的孩子给予语音鼓励。
